Welcome to Political Reason
Does the national political scene concern you? I know it concerns me. For too many years I was a stadium seat observer, watching the arena of ideas with passive interest.
No longer.
While I have a vote, I also have a voice and mind. To that end, Political Reason provides perspectives on events that are shaping — or fundamentally transforming — our nation.
Political Reason seeks to find "reason," that is to say, a logical purpose to the decisions being made for us. Political Reason also points out that we are often fed excuses, platitudes, and reasons, which lack any true political reason.

Jacob Hirple, the chief author, resides in Michigan where despite over 15% unemployment, he is thankful to remain gainfully employed.
